गणानाम् त्वा गणपतिग्म् हवामहे

Word to word meaning: Ganaanaam = for the bhoota ganas (group of spirits); ganapatigam = lord of ganas; tvaa = you; havaamahe = inviting you; kavim = poet or learned person; kaveenaam = among learned persons; upamasravastamam = superior among those who can be compared as having fame; कविम् कवीना मुपमश्रवस्तवम्

ज्येष्ठ राजं ब्रह्मणां ब्रह्मणस्पत
ReplyDeleteज्येष्टानम् -- You are He who is foremost
राजम् - the king/ruler
ब्रह्मणाम् - Brahmana (One who is Knowing)
ब्रह्मणस्पत - who are Lord of all Brahmanas
आन श्शृण्व न्नूतिभि स्सीद सादनम्
आनः - towards us, of us
शृण्वन् -- hearing, listening
ऊतिभिः - for protection
सीद - be seated
सादनं - comfortably/in well established/in well arranged way (whether outside in our home or within our mooldhara chakra etc.)
